🛠️ MOST UNDERRATED SALES SKILLS

Growing your confidence in both your personal and professional life. Whether you need to present to your team or give a speech at a wedding, being in sales uplifts your verbal and non-verbal skills, so you deliver your words as intended, rather than letting nerves come through.

🔬 IS SELLING AN ART OR SCIENCE?

Both! There’s no “right” or “wrong” way to sell – all the methodologies prove it! I believe it takes a combination of creativity (art) and proven fact (science) to grab attention and sell logically.

💸 BEST NEGOTIATION TIP

Never negotiate against yourself! When you do this, it’s typically driven by one of three reasons:

You don’t believe in the product, pricing, or value.

You fear the prospect/customer doesn’t believe in it.

You’re desperate to close the deal.

🚩 INTERVIEWING RED OR GREEN FLAGS

Green flags are when a candidate can:

Clearly articulate their experience in a digestible way that highlights relevant experience

Show enthusiasm for the company/product/service

Do homework on the interviewer, company, product, ICP – nothing crazy, but they should be able to tell me what we do and who we sell to at the very least.

Red flags are when a candidate:

Bashes a former employee/colleague/manager

Brings up money right away before understanding the role

Asks generic questions

🤩 WHEN YOUR TEAM IMPRESSES YOU MOST

I’m so impressed when my team proactively helps new team members without being asked to do so. Going above any beyond for the greater good of the team, not just worrying about themselves.

I’ve had top reps help me significantly with new hire training, paying attention to areas for improvement, and proactively scheduling training sessions to discuss best practices.

💪 WHAT EVERY SDR NEEDS TO SUCCEED

SDRs need a “do more” mindset. Who else can I call or email? Can I beat last week’s activities or meetings booked? Which team member can I help today?

Always strive to get better, never settling for the status quo!
